THERMION 3
LRF

What’s New in the Thermion 3 Series:

Better design, better accuracy. The slimline LRF is seamlessly integrated to retain the classic riflescope design.

Traditional riflescope zoom ring design allows for ambidextrous zooming. Direction of zoom can be reversed.

For easier, ambidextrous focusing without reaching to the front of the riflescope.

Achieves outstanding image quality, even at its highest magnification.

HD Sensor, Perfected
for Maximum Detail

The Thermion 3 LRF XT50 is the first riflescope in the Pulsar product range to feature a premium 1280×1024 sensor, offering unprecedented clarity both at range and at its highest magnification level.

See antler points, body shape, and movement more clearly, then confirm before you commit… More confidence, more ethical shooting.

Laser Rangefinder, Perfected.
Slimline Design, Faster Measurements.

A redesigned, low-profile laser rangefinder located to the side of the objective lens retains its f1.0 lens path whilst removing the risks associated with lens-integrated LRFs (such as lens cracking under high-calibre recoil). Though it is smaller than previous iterations, this LRF will achieve reliable distance measurements out to 1200m with an accuracy of ±1m — providing valuable distance data and ensuring better accuracy before taking a shot.

Three scanning modes available:

  • Single Measurement: provides a precise, one-time distance measurement with a press of the LRF button. Best for use when observing stationary targets.
  • Scanning Mode: provides continuous, real-time distance data as you pan across the observation area. Ideal for use when observing multiple or moving targets.
  • True Horizontal Distance (THD): calculates the effective horizontal distance to a target when shooting up- or downhill. Most useful in hilly or mountainous terrain.

3 Sensitivity Amplification Modes

Ideal for dry and sunny conditions, city or mountainous terrain with variable temperatures.

The most versatile sensitivity option; perfect for observation in most conditions.

Ideal for use in the worst conditions, such as heavy rain, fog, and high humidity

Zoom Control, Perfected.
More Natural Zooming with New Throw Lever.

For a more natural observation experience, the Thermion 3 LRF series now features smooth, stepless zooming — rather than the stepped zooming found in previous iterations of the Thermion series — and is presented with a completely redesigned zoom mechanism.

Zooming in and out can now be achieved by way of a zoom ring located on the eyepiece. A new removable a throw lever makes zooming much more effortless — no more taking your eye away from the scope to locate the zoom button.

To remain completely ambidextrous, the zoom function can be customised digitally via the scope’s settings menu to allow for left- and right-handed use.

Focus Mechanism, Perfectedfor Easier
Ambidextrous Operation.

The Thermion 3 LRF features an updated, ergonomically designed focus mechanism, which is now located on the middle turret.

Conveniently placed in the middle of the riflescope’s tube, this means effortless focusing can now be achieved without having to reach to the front of the device, as with previous iterations of the Thermion riflescope.

This results in a much more comfortable operation and allows for faster focusing when it counts most.

Two Picture-in-Picture Modes

Pulsar’s picture-in-picture (PiP) mode presents a separate window in 10% of the screen, allowing you to zoom in on an object of interest without losing control over the FOV, allowing you to closely inspect your target whilst keeping track of movement within the observation area.

With two PiP modes available, the Thermion 3 LRF now features the rounded PiP option first introduced in the Trail 3 LRF riflescope, providing a rounded view in the centre of the screen and allowing for a more natural focal point that does not impede your view of the observation area.

User Interface, Perfected for More Effective Operation

An updated user interface matches those found in the Symbion LRF and Trail 3 LRF series. Featuring more information on the status bar, improved menu grouping, and a visually clean design, this new UI offers a more streamlined layout that allows for more efficient menu navigation, better visibility, and easier access to key digital functions.

Unparalleled Display Quality

The Thermion 3 LRF is the first device in the Pulsar range to feature a stunning, large-format 2560×2560 AMOLED display, offering enhanced image quality, perfect blacks and high contrast, along with a level of colour reproduction never seen before in a Pulsar thermal imager.

Plus, its wide-angle eyepiece has been optimised for use with high-resolution micro-displays which, along with its industry-leading 65 mm eye relief, ensures comfortable and safer long-term observation.

Ergonomic Control Layout, Perfected for Easier Operation in the Dark

For enhanced ergonomics, greater comfort in the field, and to ensure control over every digital function is always within reach, the Thermion 3 LRF features the same circular control layout and convenient function wheel first introduced in the Talion series, optimising control over digital functions and navigation of menus.

This results in a much more comfortable operation and allows for faster focusing when it counts most.

Battery System, Perfected for Reliable Extended Observation

A dual battery system, with one rechargeable external battery and one replaceable internal battery, provides up to 14 hours of operation on a single charge (depending on model), keeping your hunt going through the day and into the night.

A battery saving proximity sensor on the eyepiece recognises when the scope is not in use, automatically switching the display into standby mode. Raise the riflescope to your eye and the screen will switch back on almost instantly, making sure battery life is never unnecessarily depleted.

A newly designed battery cover now features a hinge, reducing the likelihood of dropping the cover when switching batteries in the dark. A simple twist on the battery cover and you’re ready to go.

3 Easy Zeroing Options

One Shot Zeroing

Fire a single shot and move the reticle to the point of impact, the riflescope will calculate the correction — the fastest way to zero.

Zoom Zeroing

Ideal for accurate zeroing at longer distances, this option allows you to zero by increasing the magnification while adjusting the reticle for fine, precise movements.

Freeze Zeroing

Captures a frozen image of your target after you fire a shot, allowing you to adjust the reticle without keeping the rifle aimed — a more comfortable and precise method of zeroing.

Built-In Video Recorder

Capture every memorable moment with the Thermion 3 LRF’s built-in video recorder. Capture stunning hi-res videos with audio and store them to the riflescope’s generous 128GB internal memory or to the cloud via the Stream Vision 2 app.

Recording can be achieved in several ways, including via a quick button press, recoil activated recording, and shadow recording.

  • Manual Recording: A quick press of the camera button and the riflescope will start recording. Hold the button down to switch between video and still image capture.
  • Recoil Activated Recording (RAR): Automatically starts recording once a shot has been detected, with 30 seconds of video captured before and after the shot in order to capture all the action.
  • Shadow Recording: recording on a temporary 30-second buffering loop, shadow recording will ensure that action is captured even if you are late to press the button, meaning your shot can still be captured even if you hit the REC button after the shot is taken.

Confidence and Precision with Stream Vision Ballistics

A built-in ballistics calculator and Stream Vision Ballistics compatibility takes data gathered by the integrated laser rangefinder and provides accurate trajectory corrections and a suggested point of aim (SPOA). It can also create ammo-specific profiles, allowing you to transfer this thermal riflescope from one rifle to another, without the elongated setup process.

A ballistic widget displayed on-screen will also provide ballistic data, along with suggested corrections — all you need to do is adjust your riflescope accordingly and you’ll be shooting with more confidence.

Connect the Thermion 3 to your mobile phone and use it as a wireless remote, enabling control and adjustments of the riflescope’s settings, with all changes visible on your smartphone or tablet screen in real-time. You can also record footage or take still images using your mobile phone.

Browse through all your photos and videos recorded on your thermal or night vision devices, then download and even share these files with friends.
