Three Ways to See the Field. One Multispectral Powerhouse.

Introducing the Pulsar Symbion LRF series: two new premium multispectral binoculars designed to enable complete control over your observation area, no matter the time of day or the weather conditions — each combining two advanced optical channels and offering more ways to view the field.

  • Best suited for use in forest and mixed terrain environments, the Symbion LRF DXT50 features a premium 1280×1024, 12µm HD thermal sensor with <20mK sNETD thermal sensitivity, achieving a detection range of up to 2300m and unmatched thermal image detail throughout its 2-16x magnification range.
  • Designed for long-range detection and identification in both open terrain and mountainous environments., the Symbion LRF DXR50 features Pulsar’s NEW 640×480, 12µm XR sensor with <18mK sNETD thermal sensitivity, achieving the same 2300m detection range as the DXT50, but twice the magnification range at 4-32x.

Thermal Channel:

Each device features a sensitive thermal sensor that will achieve unparalleled levels of thermal contrast, revealing the smallest heat signature through dense foliage at distances reaching up to 2300 m. Unprecedented thermal sensitivity will effortlessly cut through dense fog, heavy rain, and high humidity — providing exceptional observation capabilities regardless of adverse weather conditions.

4K Digital Channel

A powerful 4K digital channel provides striking full-colour daytime imaging, clear colour images in twilight and low-light conditions, and high-contrast black & white night vision aided by a built-in IR illuminator — perfect for those who need to start their observations in the day and keep them going long into the night. A built-in, focusable IR illuminator enhances night-time observation even further, extending your detection range and allowing you to pinpoint focus on an object of interest by sliding the convenient IR button at the front of the device.

The combination of these two channels achieves the perfect observation solution, providing a balanced performance across daylight, low-light, and night-time conditions and allowing you to switch between detection and observation at the press of a button.

Combined Viewing Mode

Plus, with Pulsar’s intuitive Picture-in-Picture function, you can even view both the thermal imaging and digital channels simultaneously, with a secondary viewing box in the top 10% of the screen allowing for combined detection and observation, with the ability to zoom to the end of the Symbion’s magnification range within this box whilst retaining full, zoomed-out control of the observation area.

Built-in Image Stabilisation

Tracking fast moving objects, walking rough terrain, or observing your subject from the passenger seat of a moving vehicle is no longer an issue, with built-in electronic image stabilisation. Using sophisticated algorithms, this feature will digitally correct the effects of shaking hands, camera shake, and motion blur — providing a more comfortable and focused observation experience.

Built-in Next Generation Laser Rangefinder

A built-in next generation laser rangefinder provides a measuring range of up to 1500 m with a accuracy of ±1m, with reliable data allowing you to make informed decisions in the field, establishing the distance between you and your observed object with a press of a button.

Overhauled Design: New Control Wheel for Smooth Navigation & Zooming

Boasting perhaps Pulsar’s most striking design in years, the Symbion features a completely redesigned control layout that differs drastically from other Pulsar binoculars. A new control wheel optimises control over digital functions, navigation of menus, and smooth and convenient zooming in PiP mode for one handed operation. Control over the Symbion is easier than any device before it — especially in the dark.

Classic Binocular Feel: New Focus Wheel Design

Maintaining the classic aesthetics of traditional glass binoculars, the Symbion has convenient independent focus wheels between the eyepieces, keeping focus control for both channels always within reach. The silver wheel adjusts the digital channel’s focus, while the black wheel controls the thermal channel’s focus.

Convenient New Power Switch for Quick & Easy Operation

A new power switch is located on the underside of the device, freeing up space on top of the Symbion for a more convenient control button array. This switch allows you to easily ascertain whether the device is on, off, or in Sleep mode by touch alone — an advantage that becomes particularly useful during night-time observations.
