Next-Gen Compact Thermal Riflescopes: Trail 3 LRF

Each Trail 3 LRF riflescope has been optimised for different user needs, providing a thermal imaging solution for all kinds of shooters — from professional gamekeepers and pest controllers to recreational hunters and stalkers. Unprecedented low thermal sensitivity (XQ50: <18mK sNETD / XR50: <15mK sNETD), achieves crystal-clear thermal pictures in ever-changing hunting conditions, including in adverse weather conditions such as dense fog, heavy rain, and high humidity.

  • Trail 3 LRF XQ50: Ideal for short- to mid-range shooting in challenging weather and low-contrast environments. Its 384×288, 17µm, <15mk sNETD thermal sensor and powerful 50 mm f1.0 germanium objective lens provide a detection range of up to 1800 m and a FOV of 7.5°.
  • Trail 3 LRF XR50: Optimised for long-range hunting across open landscapes. A NEW 640×480, 12µm XR thermal sensor and a powerful 50 mm f1.0 germanium objective lens, providing a detection range of up to 2200 m and a FOV of 8.8°.

Confidence with Every Shot: Built-in Precision Laser Rangefinder

Designed to embolden hunters with the confidence they need in the field, both Trail 3 LRF models, as their names suggest, feature a built-in precision laser rangefinder. This LRF will provide distance measurements at a range of up to 1200m with an accuracy of ±1 m, ensuring greater accuracy and allowing for better situational awareness and more informed decision making before taking a shot.

Enhanced Accuracy: Stream Vision Ballistics App

Adding yet another layer of certainty when hunting, the built-in laser rangefinder also provides crucial distance data when using the Stream Vision Ballistics app, combining this information with sophisticated algorithms to provide accurate trajectory corrections and a suggested point of aim (SPOA).

Stream Vision Ballistics can also create ammo-specific profiles, allowing you to transfer the Trail 3 from one rifle to another without going through the zeroing process again.

New Round Picture-in-Picture Mode

Precision is enhanced even further through the Trail 3’s new rounded Picture-in-Picture mode, which provides a separate, circular viewing section (around 10% of the screen) in the centre of the screen, allowing you to focus on a subject — zooming through the riflescope’s full magnification range whilst maintaining unencumbered situational awareness.

Compact & Robust Design for Left- and Right-handed Shooters

A robust and durable design features ambidextrous focusing knobs, making it the ideal choice for left- and right-handed shooters. Its rugged magnesium alloy bodyshell protects against the knocks and scrapes that professional users are all too familiar with during use in the field.

Ease of Use: New Control Wheel &  Shortcut Buttons

An updated user interface is complimented by the Trail 3 LRF’s new control wheel and customisable shortcut buttons, enabling quick and easy access to frequently used functions and fluid navigation through the device’s menus.

Every Memorable Moment Captured: Recoil Activated Video Recording

Built-in recoil activated video recording capabilities (with sound) means every memorable shot can be recorded and shared with friends or to social media. Images and video can be saved on the devices 64 GB internal storage.

Enhanced connectivity and digital features with the Pulsar Stream Vision 2 app

Use your mobile phone as a wireless remote, enabling control and adjustments of your riflescope’s settings, with all changes visible on your smartphone or tablet screen in real-time. You can also record footage or take still images using your mobile phone.

Browse through all your photos and videos recorded on your riflescope, then download and share these files with friends.

Keep your Trail 3 LRF working at the top of its game with remote firmware updates.

Exceptional Image Clarity: Full-HD AMOLED Display

The Trail 3’s Full-HD 1920×1080 AMOLED display achieves astonishing image clarity, delivering sharp, high-contrast thermal imagery. Plus, through an in-built proximity sensor, this display will switch off when the riflescope is lowered and not in use, reducing the likelihood of light bleed in the field whilst preserving the riflescope’s battery life — so you can get the most out of your hunt without worrying about losing power.

Shock Resistance:  Designed for Use with High Calibre Rounds

Recoil rated at up to 6000 joules and with a robust monoblock construction, this riflescope can handle high calibre rounds without breaking a sweat. The Trail 3 can be used with 9.3×64, .30-06, .300, .375H&H, etc., as well as smooth-bore and pneumatic rifles.

The Trail 3 LRF series also features:

Choose from a selection 9 colour palettes in the thermal channel

5 individual shooting profiles with 50 zeroing distances

Robust & durable magnesium alloy bodyshell

Extreme operating temperatures (from -25 to +50°C)

Advanced image processing algorithms
