The Missing Piece of the Puzzle

The Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro introduces the missing piece of the puzzle, becoming the first thermal imaging riflescope to retain a classic design whilst incorporating a built-in precision laser rangefinder. Seamlessly integrating within the clearance limits of a single optical channel, this rangefinder is compact and offers a measuring range of 800m, with an accuracy of ± 1m.

Description

Highly Sensitive Thermal Sensor

Featuring a highly sensitive, high definition 640×480, 17 µm, <25mK NETD thermal  sensor with a 50Hz refresh rate to provide a sharp and richly contrasted image, enabling enhanced identification of animals and their extremities — and the smallest details such as leaves, branches, and terrain — in harsh weather conditions when thermal contrast is low.

Integrated Laser Rangefinder

The Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro’s built-in laser rangefinder fits seamlessly within the clearance limits of a single optical channel, offering a measuring distance of up to 800m ± 1m, providing the user with a more accurate sense of distance within their observation area.

Fast Aperture Lens F50/1.0

For ultimate detection efficiency, the focusable F50/1.0 fast objective lens, combined with the highly sensitive thermal sensor, and a 12.4°x9.3° field of view provides astounding detection capabilities — detecting a standard 1.8m tall object at up to 1800m in daylight or complete darkness — with a detailed, high contrast image; even in rain or foggy conditions.

Ambidextrous Focusing

The internal focusing mechanism on the objective lens will maintain a crisp image at any range, and the ergonomic focusing wheels found on either side of the riflescope will make focusing a breeze — regardless of whether the user is right or left-handed. The viewing experience is improved even further through the -3/+5 dioptre adjustment, 50mm eye relief, and 5m minimum focus, reducing fatigue, offering comfortable image perception and allowing the user to concentrate better on the hunt.

Variable Zoom

The base magnification increases four times from 2x-16x, with a zoom that can change either gradually by 2x steps, or continuously, allowing the user to set the ideal magnification ratio and visible field of view to suit any situation.

HD AMOLED Display

The Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro features a stunning 1024×768 HD AMOLED display, which features enhanced colour rendering and a high contrast image to provide a clear and smooth picture whilst on-the-move. Couple this with the wide-angle 29.5° eyepiece and this riflescope provides comfortable image perception with no keyhole effect and no eye strain.

8 Colour Palettes

For more effective observation of the field of view, 8 colour palettes are available to the user, optimising the Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro for specific tasks and reacting to changing conditions in the observation area.

White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are the perfect choice for object detection; Rainbow and Ultramarine are great for recognition and identification; and Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are ideal for night-time observation.

Image Boost

Pulsar’s proprietary Image boost technology implements intuitive software algorithms to increase the overall image clarity and detail, resulting in a sharper, more detailed field of view with enhanced object identification capabilities.

Up to 10 Hours Battery Life

Incredible battery life on a single charge with the two rechargeable batteries provided (one built-in at 4.9 Ah capacity and one replaceable at 2 Ah capacity). Just one charge offers up to 10 hours of power (depending on temperature), which will cover the time of active use for a hunt.

Quick replacement of the second battery is made possible thanks to the embossed design on the body, making swapping the batteries nice and easy, even in total darkness.

Display Off & Instant Start-Up

The Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro features “Display Off” mode, deactivating image transmission to the display and reducing the screen brightness to an absolute minimum. This puts the device into standby mode rather than powering down completely. A press of the power button when the device is in standby mode will activate instant start-up and the scope will be operational again in just 3 seconds.

Auto Shutdown

Further battery preservation is achieved with the Auto Power Off function. Activate this mode and the Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro will automatically power down when a non-operational position is detected. Holding the riflescope up or down at an angle of 70°, or tilting to the left or right at 30° for 60 seconds will trigger the Auto Power Off functions and all controls and buttons will be disabled.

Operating Temperatures from -25 to +50 °C

Designed to work in a wide variety of temperatures, this riflescope will operate in -25 to +50 °C, with the frost-free AMOLED display providing a stunning image, even when objects are observed in motion.

High Calibre Recoil Resistant

High calibre weapons are also no problem — the Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro is high impact resistant, meaning it can be used with hunting rifles using large calibres, as well as smooth-bore and pneumatic weapons.

IPX7 Waterproof

On top of this, the IPX waterproof rating means it will remain operational in heavy rain, fog, high humidity, snow, and can even withstand immersion in water to a depth of 1 metre for up to 30 minutes.

10 Reticle Shapes in 9 Colour Modes

Features an electronic reticle which is always in the same plane as the target, with 10 various reticle shapes and functions – direct shot type, ballistic, scalable, and regular. Each reticle offers 9 colour options.

Scalable Ballistic Reticles

Also features scalable reticles which are scaled proportionally to any magnification changes. The angular dimension of the reticle remains unchanged at all magnification levels, enabling quick measurements of distances and adjustments when shooting at various ranges.

5 Shooting Profiles & 10 Zeroing Profiles

Provides 5 shooting profiles for a multitude of weapon or cartridge types. Each profile can hold up to 10 zeroing distances, offering up to 50 zeroing distances overall.

30mm Housing

Mounting on standard 30mm rings, the Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro has been built to remain robust and durable whilst retaining pleasing, familiar aesthetics on any hunting weapon, with a design that resembles a classic day sight.

Integrated Wi-Fi Module

The built-in Wi-Fi module ensures reliable and consistent operation between the device and a smartphone or tablet, allowing for easy connection between the device and Stream Vision 2.

Built-In Still Image & Video Recorder with Audio

A built-in video and still image recorder with audio recording capabilities allows the user to capture once-in-a-lifetime moments at the press of a button. This, combined with the built-in Wi-Fi module and Stream Vision 2 connectivity, will allow the user to view and share their favourite moments from their hunt.

16GB Storage

Images and videos recorded on the riflescope can be stored on the device’s 16GB of internal memory, where they can be easily downloaded to a laptop or PC via the quick connection of a USB-C cord.

Stream Vision 2

Available for Android or iOS smartphones or tablets, the FREE Pulsar Stream Vision 2 app opens up a wide variety of connectivity features, including:

The ability to use a mobile phone as a wireless remote to control and adjust the riflescope’s settings. View every change you make through the device on a smartphone or tablet screen in real-time. This feature also allows for remote recording of footage or the capture of still images.
