The Oryx LRF XG35’s focus wheel is located just in front of the viewfinder, allowing for one-handed focus adjustments, ushering in a new era of single-handed thermal observation. A four-button arrangement has been ergonomically considered to achieve comfortable operation, offering control over all of the most commonly used digital functions.
An ambidextrous wrist strap and symmetrical bodyshell design enables comfortable left- or right-handed operation, and haptic feedback will provide a short vibration when a button is pressed — confirming or alerting you to any button presses.

A seamlessly integrated precision laser rangefinder can be found under the objective lens, providing an incredible 1500m distance measuring range with an accuracy of ±1m, whilst taking up a fraction of the footprint found on previous LRF-equipped monoculars. Equipped with Pulsar’s innovative dual-battery system, the Oryx LRF combines an internal rechargeable battery with a removeable, rechargeable APS5 battery for up to 12 hours of uninterrupted power distribution. Both batteries will display their charge percentage on-screen, allowing for accurate power monitoring. Each battery can be charged via the USB-C port.

With a rugged design featuring a durable magnesium alloy bodyshell, the Oryx LRF has been constructed for consistent use in all types of scenarios. Whether you’re on an expedition in blistering heat and dusty climates, or traipsing through dense snow in sub-zero temperatures, this compact but mighty monocular is designed for any situation, offering the same outstanding performance regardless of environment.
Plus, as the first device in the Pulsar product range to feature an IP67 protection rating, the Oryx LRF will withstand heavy rain and extreme humidity and will remain operational after immersion in up to 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes. This IP67 rating also protects against dust and contact with objects larger than 1mm.
