Pulsar’s Firmware Update 3.0.0 for the Oryx LRF XG35 thermal imaging monocular introduces new featured designed to improve precision, usability, and functionality in the field. From clearer thermal imagery to improved connectivity and ballistic capabilities, this update will provide an even better, more versatile thermal observation experience.

Updated Image Processing Algorithms

Firmware Update 3.0.0 introduces improved image processing algorithms, reducing visual noise and resulting in a much clearer and more stable thermal picture. Fine details stand out more clearly, making it easier to differentiate between targets and their surroundings.

Now Compatible with the Stream Vision Ballistics App

With this latest update, the Oryx LRF XG35 is now compatible with the Stream Vision Ballistics app. Connecting the app to your device via Bluetooth allows you to activate ballistic data, select profiles, and choose preferred calculator units from your smart device. The Stream Vision Ballistics app enables fast setup and accurate ballistic data in the field.

New Ballistic Calculator Widget

Further to SV Ballistics compatibility, this update also introduces the Ballistic Calculator widget to the Oryx LRF XG35, displaying critical ballistic information (such as the last measured distance, active ballistic profile, and correction values) directly on the device’s screen. The Ballistic Calculator widget offers instant access to essential data without having to enter the menu, meaning you can check this data without disrupting your observations.

Auto-Display Off

The activation of the Oryx LRF XG35’s built-in angle sensors allows the device to automatically shut off the display when it detects the device is not in use. This helps save battery and stop light from bleeding out of the viewfinder, reducing the likelihood of observed animals spotting you during night-time observations.

USB Type-C Video Output

Firmware Update 3.0.0 now allows for high-quality, low-latency video output via USB Type-C connection, connecting to a computer or smartphone and supporting live streaming, video recording, and editing.

This feature is only compatible with iPhone models featuring a USB-C port (iPhone 15 and above).
