Pulsar’s firmware update 2.3.100 for Krypton 2 devices introduces a new green colour palette that resembles traditional night vision optics for the first time in any Pulsar thermal imaging device.
This green colour palette has been included to enhance viewing comfort over long periods of observation, as it is is less stressful on the eye and therefore reduces the likelihood of eye-strain.
For those who are used to digital night vision optics, this colour palette also aids in the shift from night vision to thermal imaging.
The update also includes various improvements to image quality, and bug fixes including resolving an issue in which some users were not able to view recorded media files. Corrupted video files will no longer be shown in the library.
Firmware update 2.3.100 is available to download now via the Stream Vision 2 app. You can also view the Krypton 2 manual here for more detailed instructions on downloading and installing the firmware update.
